We say ‘suits’, you say ‘office’. Well, that used to be the case but the tailoring class of 2023 is giving the 9-5 a wide berth.
The suits on display at Giorgio Armani, Etudes, AMI, and many others were all about sophisticated leisure. Super relaxed, unstructured cuts in pastel tones, styled with a simple tee, are the flavours of a chic summer. We’re fans of the loose double-breasted styles at Fursac and Hackett, while the baggy neutral tailored trousers by Sandro are a must, whether you wear them as part of a suit, or as separates. Cotton and linen fabrics are best to keep your cool in, and style the whole look down with a deep v-neck tee or a grandad collar shirt.
ACCESSORIES
The loose relaxed shapes of the tailoring will do most of the talking, but you can still dial up the volume of your summer suits with these hand-picked accessories.
